We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and ensuring our platform adheres to the international standard for web accessibility.

🎯 Our Commitment

We want as many people as possible to be able to use Hi Scribe. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Navigate all pages and features using just a keyboard.

  • Interact with the content using common screen readers (such as NVDA and VoiceOver).

  • Zoom in up to 200% without the content becoming unusable.

  • Use the platform with high color contrast for clear readability.

AbilityNet provides advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

✅ Compliance Status

Hi Scribe is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard.

This means that all content and features on the Hi Scribe platform meet every required success criterion at both Level A and Level AA of WCAG 2.2.

🔬 Technical Information and Assessment

The accessibility of Hi Scribe has been verified through a comprehensive, rigorous internal auditing process.

Assessment Approach: The platform's compliance was determined by eConsult’s Engineering team using a detailed, manual testing approach. This involved testing all features and key user journeys against every WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criterion, including:

  • Keyboard-Only Testing: Thoroughly testing all interactive elements to ensure full operability without a mouse.

  • Code Inspection: Reviewing semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, and focus management to verify technical compliance.

  • Automated and Semi-Automated Tools: Utilization of checkers such as SiteImprove to quickly identify programmatic issues.

Commitment to Ongoing Accessibility: We integrate accessibility checks into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. When any change is made to the platform, we run an accessibility checker to ensure no new issues are introduced before the change is released.

The last full accessibility audit was completed on 7th November 2025.
