Share your feedback about our site’s new look and feel.

We’ve introduced some changes to your practice eConsult site which should make it easier and quicker for you to complete your request.

To start your request, select from one of the main options:

  • “Adult health problems” - if you’re over 16, choose this to ask for advice about health symptoms for yourself or another adult you care for.

  • “Child health problems” - choose this to ask for advice about health symptoms for a child.

  • “Sick notes, test results or administrative help” - choose this to request sick notes, test results and other paperwork from the practice

  • “Reviews for long-term conditions, medication or contraception” - you won’t see this option on every site. Use this only if your practice has asked you to complete a regular review.

If you need further help, or if you want to leave feedback, select the 'question mark' icon in the top right corner.

You will also see links to helpful alternative services such as pharmacy, 111 and NHS self-help advice.

Request health advice for yourself or someone you care for

If you select “Adult health problems”, you can continue your request by selecting the topic you want to ask about:

  • Type the main symptom or condition into the search to find what you need

  • Choose one of the most common problem buttons

  • Or choose “All problems A-Z” to see the full list of topics you can ask about.

Once you select your topic, we will ask you to consider if you’ve already tried alternative services such as pharmacy or 111. By selecting “I still want to contact my GP practice” you will continue with your request.

Request health advice for a child

If you select “Child health problems”, you will see a list of topics you can ask about. Select the one that most closely matches the nature of your request.

Once you select your topic, we will ask you to consider if you’ve already tried alternative services such as pharmacy or 111 before you continue with your request.

Submitting regular reviews

If your practice has asked you to complete a regular review, select “Reviews for long term conditions, medication or contraception”. You will see a list of reviews. Choose the one you were asked to complete in order to proceed.

We hope you find these changes useful. You can also share feedback about our site’s new look and feel.
